Bandera Pass Cemetery

Aka Forest Cemetery, Ranger Crossing Graves, Forest Ranch Cemetery


8 miles north of Bandera on Hwy 173 N. 1 miles east of Hwy 173 and .5 miles south of Bandera Pass. 7 yards on the north side of Silver Creek.


Land was never set aside, rangers were buried in 1842 or 1843. Contact person: Steven Forest, 7930 SH 173 N, Bandera, TX 78003. 830.796.4470. 5-6 Texas Rangers are buried here. 6’X20’ in size. These graves are located at the southern end of Bandera Pass by Silver Creek water hole. - Texas Historic Sites Atlas.

Graves are on private property and are not accessible.
